Oh, Jilly! Aceton Zoo has just got some
new pandas. They were born in China, but
they’re going to grow up here in Aceton.

Pandas are omnivores. That
means they eat everything.
Did you know that pandas are
endangered? There are only
about 1,600 living in the wild.
I can’t believe that you’re going to have
your lunch now! We haven’t arrived at
the zoo yet! You’ll be hungry later!
OK. I’ll put the sandwich away.
Pandas are protected in China, but they
are still endangered. Too many trees
have been cut down, and every year
there is less space for them in the wild.
