Dizzy’s project Lesson 1
Objectives
Present a cross-curricular topic
Present and practise new language associated with the concept
• Dizzy’s project continues the unit theme by extending it further. The project lessons also introduce a simple concept and language associated with it, that might include cross-curricular, cultural or personal development themes. The idea is that the project can link in naturally to other topics the children are learning in the rest of the curriculum and make it easy for teachers to coordinate with their colleagues.
• This lesson presents the concept and the new language via a song and a set of photo flashcards. These flashcards are designed to be exploited for language and discussion on the topic. There is also a song and a simple worksheet in the Class Book to consolidate the language.
